What the TechnoDrive device is and its specifications

TechnoDrive uses 4G QUECETEL for communication. Being composed of two cameras, the DMS camera which is mounted in the cabin to monitor the driver’s behavior and the ADAS camera which is mounted on the exterior of the vehicle to monitor the road, the TechnoDrive has established itself as the perfect tool to coach the driver’s behavior, improve management efficiency, and lower operation cost all at the same time.

Both cameras, aside from being able to record simultaneously, they also record locally and live stream remotely at the same time. The front-facing HD camera (ADAS) is used for real-time recording, while the cabin-facing camera has IR to work as well at night, driving behavior analysis, multiple alert options, and much more.

Feature

Description

1

Video recording

This enables the device to capture events every 10 seconds.

2

Live video

This enables the device to live stream images captured via the LTE network to the platform.

3

Tracking

This enables the device to upload location data from the built-in g-sensor via the mobile network to the platform for analysis.

4

Event alert

This enables the device to upload alert messages and video files to the platform when an event is triggered by a collision, reckless driving behavior, emergency, DMS reminder, harsh braking, speeding, etc.

5

Remote control

This enables the user to lock the vehicle by remotely cutting off power from the vehicle via the platform as an added security measure.

2.2.1 Event Alerts

The TechnoDrive camera (both the DMS  and the ADAS) records events and sends alerts to the platform when any of the following events takes place.

  1. Detect Fatigue
Since 30% of collisions are caused by a driver's fatigue, it has become crucial to monitor such behavior and document it.

  1. Detect Distraction
50% of collisions are caused by a driver being distracted, hence the TechnoDrive camera offers multiple tags for every distracted behavior there is to ensure the safety of both your driver and people on the road.

  1. Harsh Brake/Acceleration
20% of collisions are caused by aggressive driving and high speed, hence the tagging in multiple priorities for braking and accelerating.

  1. Detect Mobile Usage
30% of collisions are caused by the usage of mobile phones via texting or even making phone calls, our advanced AI technology allows you to get notified of any cell phone usage while driving.

  1. Detect Smoking
Our TechnoDrive camera can detect smoking cigarettes and sends an alert accordingly.

  1. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
It alerts the driver when feeling drowsy or fatigued and hence changes lanes without turning on the turn signals.
you can turn off the alarm if you wish to not alert the driver.

  1. Headway Monitor Warning (HMW)
This alerts the driver when an unsafe distance is maintained between your vehicle and other vehicles on the road.
you can turn off the alarm if you wish to not alert the driver.

  1. Pedestrians Detection
The TechnoDrive camera alerts the driver (via the in-cabin alarm) when a pedestrian is in danger by your vehicle.

  1. Animals Detection
The TechnoDrive camera alerts the driver (via the in-cabin alarm) when an animal is in danger by your vehicle.
