How to use the Trip Manager feature in Fleet Vision mode

We know how important reports are to your business and that is why we specifically designed the Trip Manager feature so that you could have an auto-generated report with however much detail you prefer, exportable in an excel sheet.
To access the Trip Manager, open the navigation drawer by clicking on the 3-dashed button at the upper left corner of the page, then under Fleet Tracking click on Trip Manager, the following window appears.

On the far right side of the page, you'll find a navigation drawer, if it's not shown, simply click on the arrow at the far right end of the screen.
The Trip Manager is basically a report generator for all of your trips and trip zones, we will discuss each feature in detail.

1. Trip Explorer

This feature offers a playback of every trip your vehicles had, with detailed information about the duration and location of those trips.
To access the Trip Explorer, navigate to the right navigation drawer, under Trips, click on Trip Explorer, the following window appears.

You'll notice a control drawer at the bottom of the page, If it isn't visible, click on the arrow at the bottom right side of the page and a Trips control drawer pops up.
This drawer helps you filter which units you want to track and displays information related to the driver, location and duration of each trip. You can also choose to play the playback of each trip by clicking the green play button next to every trip. You'll also notice a Map Control Toolbar at the upper right side of the map. After you click the play button on any trip the following screen appears.

The straight line shows you the GPS calculated distance between the start point and the end point, and the curved line shows you the actual route taken by the unit on the map. You'll notice the Colored Dots on the route, these indicate speeding or stopping.

2. Trip Reports

This feature helps you view basic information about each trip that was taken by the units you filter and allows you to export these data in the form of an excel sheet. To access the Trip Reports, show the right navigation drawer and under Reports click on Trip Reports, the following window appears.

You'll need to use the time filters From and To to specify the dates and times you want the reports to show. You'll also need to choose the units you want to generate the report for, simply click on the car button and the following window appears.

Under Type, choose whether your units have a GPS module (i.e. Vehicle) or a camera device with GPS (i.e. Camera). Choose a group if any exists, then check the names of the units you want to show by clicking on the small checkboxes on the left side of each unit name. To check all the names in the list, click on the small checkbox beside the title Name then click on confirm, a similar window to the following appears.

You can view the reports on the website or choose to export them by clicking on the green Excel button.

3. Detailed Trip Reports

This feature is similar to the Trip Reports feature with added information about each trip. To access the Detailed Trip Reports, show the right navigation drawer and under Reports click on Detailed Trip Reports, the following window appears.

Similarly to Trip Reports, filter the date, time and units names using the filters provided at the top of the page as shown in Fig.05, a similar report should be generated when you click the confirm button.

You can view the reports on the website or choose to export them by clicking on the green Excel button.

4. Trips Vehicle Summary

This feature is similar to the Trip Reports feature with added information about each trip, like the average duration of the trips of each unit, maximum and minimum durations and distances and much more. To access the Trips Vehicle Summary, show the right navigation drawer and under Reports click on Trips Vehicle Summary, the following window appears.

Similarly to Trip Reports, filter the date, time and units names using the filters provided at the top of the page as shown in Fig.05, a similar report should be generated when you click the confirm button.

You can view the reports on the website or choose to export them by clicking on the green Excel button.

5. Trip Zones Summary

This feature allows you to view trips by units based on zones. It has the same detailed information as the reports with an added filtration system which is the zones (starters and closers) to allow you to get a sense of how much time is spent in each zone. To access the Trips Zones Summary, show the right navigation drawer and under Reports click on Trip Zones Summary, the following window appears.

Similarly to Trip Reports, filter the date, time and units names using the filters provided at the top of the page as shown in Fig.05, choose the zone type (as a starter or as a closer) then choose the zones by clicking on the flag shaped button, the following window appears.

Click the checkboxes next to the names of the zones you want to choose then hit save, a similar report to the following should be generated.

You can view the reports on the website or choose to export them by clicking on the green Excel button.

6. Trip Zones

Trip Zones feature helps you dedicate certain frequently visited areas by your fleet, this generates more accurate reports when the starter and the closer of a trip are known. To access the Trips Zones, show the right navigation drawer and under Administration click on Trip Zones, the following window appears.

The Trip Zones are divided into 3 categories, the Trip Starters are the zones from which a trip always starts, the Trip Destinations are temporary stops along the way, they could act as a trip closer if you wish to end a certain trip at a destination, and the Trip Closers which are the zones where a trip always ends at. To edit or select a zone in any category, simply click on the SELECT button under Trip Destinations and the following window appears.

To make a trip destination a trip closer temporarily, click on the closer toggle next to the zone's name. You can add a new zone by clicking the NEW button and following the geofencing steps on the following window.
